It’s taken me quite a while to get around to creating my own video content. It might seem quite hard to believe, especially after looking at some of the photos on this website, but I’m actually quite shy. At one point, the very idea of establishing a video blog seemed almost unthinkable.
Then, I launched into a vlogging collaboration with Antena 3 TV as La Sex Teacher – an agony aunt for young people discovering their sexuality. After that I had to change my mind about video blogs. Now, it seems much easier to put on a pair of glasses, wear a vintage blouse, create silly hairstyles and project a persona that’s simply an exaggeration of my normal self.
The experience has not only became more fun for me but, I hope, will entertain my audience even more.
More recently, I created The Sex Toy Laboratory vlog, where I test toys under the strict conditions of my bedroom.
You’ll find all the video posts below. They contain content which includes: short films, interviews and sex toy reviews.

LELO Sona Review – Venus O’Hara Sex Toy Tester
Good things come to those who wait. Literally.
It seems that LELO has been busy researching their own clitoral concerns and the result is SONA.
I have to say that I am thrilled that LELO has brought out a new toy. It has been a long time since NEA 2 and LILY 2. I have often wondered what would come next. Naturally, I had very high expectations, as my most repeated toys of my extensive collection are SIRI 2, NEA 2 and LILY 2. Despite this, I must admit that when I first saw pictures of SONA, I was initially underwhelmed. A suction device? These toys have taken the world by storm. I know so many women who love them, but they are not my thing if I’m entirely honest.
Sex Toy Review: The Dodil
If you rearrange the word dildo, you end up with dodil. The dodil is a dildo that you can reshape according to your own preferences.
I have been exploring what it really means to be a minimalist in my day-to-day life. This has resulted in my decision to throw out anything that does not earn its place by bringing me continual joy. My main inspiration in this has been Marie Kondo’s book. Since reading it, I have been careful not to acquire anything new that I do not really need. I have donated books to a library, taken old clothes to a charity shop and made gifts of my furniture to neighbours. The process has been wonderfully liberating.
Sliquid Lubricant Review – Venus O’Hara Sex Blogger
Finally! I am able to provide a review of a lubricant that I can actually get wet about.
There is a wide variety of lubricants on the market. And it is never an easy thing to choose the ‘right’ one. Sometimes your selection can be influenced by the packaging, the price, the promise of only natural ingredients, longer-lasting usability, the presence (or absence) of perfumes. Don’t forget any stimulating effects, whether it’s compatible with your sex toys. It’s really no surprise that making an informed judgement can be a little confusing.
Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation Review
I was itching with anticipation as I unboxed The Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation. After working my way into the box, I was delighted to discover that it’s black & white silicone body is seemingly modelled on that of a penguin wearing a tuxedo. It had even seen fit to dress up further for the occasion; a red sculpted bow tie was worn proudly around its neck. The Satisfyer Pro Penguin was clearly serious about its intention to provide me with high-end orgasmic delight.
Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Review
When the package containing the new Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation device arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. This was in spite of an ongoing dispute between myself and my unpredictable full-time landlord/occasional flatmate/onetime friend. There was a time when having his property littered with my exhausted sex toys amused him. He was just as fascinated by my array of charging docks, with their blinking lights, filled with yet more devices awaiting testing.
Lea by Feelz Toys – A very Happy Bunny
I was in a terrible mood when I tried Lea by Feelz Toys for the first time. I had just been woken up in the early hours of the morning by my flatmate / frenemy who was making a great deal of unnecessary noise. It was clear that he didn’t give two hoots about whether I got enough sleep or not. His coughing, door slamming and stomping around made it clear that we are going through the equivalent of a platonic separation. Our situation is reminiscent of a film that I remember seeing. ‘The Breakup (2006)’ starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn tells the story of a couple trying to go their separate ways.
