When I was trying to find my ideal suspender-belt, I discovered-very quickly-that it was a much more difficult task than I had imagined. All of the ones that I looked at first were vulgar, unflattering and ordinary. I wanted something that wasn’t going to date or go out of fashion and I realised that with retro fetish lingerie you really can’t go wrong. I found my perfect suspender belt: Its vintage, six-strap, design was sophisticated, flattering and timelessly seductive. I was even happier when I also found the perfect panties to wear in the shoot. The “Seven-Til-midnight” floral lace shorts, which were bought for me, have a lacing detail at the back that flaunts the derrière cleavage perfectly. When I attached the black retro seamed stockings and looked at myself I felt like a 1950s pin-up girl rehearsing cheesecake poses for an automobile calendar. The kinky way to wear suspenders is to have the straps inside the panties so you can peel them down without wasting time unfastening first. For me, the best thing about wearing any suspender belt is the feel of my naked thighs touching each other when everything else is clothed and covered. In Japan, Thigh Fetishism has inherited a specific term to describe it. A recent poll about the favourite “secret fetishes” of Japanese businessmen found that the most popular one was zettai ryouiki, which, when translated means “absolute territory”. In other words, they fantasize most frequently about that piece of exposed flesh between the top of a girl’s thigh-high socks and the bottom of a short skirt. This description fulfils the fetish principle in that no nudity is involved. Zettai ryouiki describes an otherwise mundane detail which, when used as a primer for arousal, assumes a sexual significance that is almost impossible to explain for non thigh-fetishists.
The same principle applies to Western men and the expression of their own thigh fetishism when it comes to lingerie and hosiery. Stockings and suspenders make these men’s enjoyment of thighs and their understanding of thigh fetishism that much easier. The combination of panties, a suspender belt and stockings isolates the area of exposed thigh and almost draws a border around it. This focuses the attention on the naked skin as oppose to the erogenous zones that are covered, albeit by material that is often sheer. A garter belt is another magnet for thigh fetishists, as are knee-high socks, thigh-high boots and self-support stockings.
Thigh fetishism has produced a new variation of itself recently and social media has had a lot to do with it. The trend for promoting and desiring a permanent clearance between the tops of the legs has become a social phenomenon and a modern yardstick for feminine health and beauty. This ‘thigh gap’ is more common, anatomically, in women who are naturally much taller and whose body mass index is lower than the average. The physiques displayed by contemporary fashion models are an obvious ideal where the ‘thigh gap’ is concerned.
A much more democratic trend in relation to thigh fetishism has also arisen on social media almost in response to the ‘thigh gap’. ‘Thighbrow’ describes the naturally-occuring crease between the thigh and the hip that appears when you sit or kneel down. Two of these, when observed together, have been said to resemble eyebrows. Whereas the ultimate ‘thigh gap’ seems to be exclusive to young women who wear size 6 jeans, the ‘thighbrow’ is a fetish highlight that everyone can flaunt.
The Joy of Going Down – Venus O’Hara
There’s no secret to the best way of getting a blowjob. If you want one, guys, you can’t just expect to get it when you feel like it. You have to earn it by going down and convincing her, in every way, that she will always come first. I was writing an article for GQ Spain called “10 things you still don’t know about women” and one of the points I made was that men still don’t go down on women nearly enough. I wanted to illustrate the point with some appropriate photos and these ones seemed perfect for the job. The tight panties I wore in the shoot were sheer and left little to the imagination. With my long red-straightened-hair, 80’s style make-up and see-through blouse I rolled around the throw and urged my hips and derriere forward, emphasising the centre of attention, as I thought about the joys of going down on someone. Why I Love Mismatched Underwear – Venus O’Hara
Most women imagine that the classic image of a suspender set with a push-up bra is what gets their man going. However, research has proven that this couldn’t be further from the truth. It has been established that the wannabe stripper look doesn’t really work. So, why are lingerie shop windows full of expensive, matching sets if men aren’t convinced by them? Men are uncomplicated creatures. Whether it’s a simple white set-up with a sexy bow, or some cute polka dot pants, the items that really score big with them are those that suggest innocence and fun. Mismatched underwear is perfect to feed in to this need because it plays along with an important male fantasy. After a solid night of sweet loving, a man likes to imagine that the girl is so overwhelmed by his performance in bed that she’s put on mismatching underwear to stagger out of his room. For me, mismatching underwear says : ‘Yes, I’m hot enough not to conform to your fashion rules, my friend.’ I know that men prefer mixed-up bras and panties that don’t match because I’ve asked them. They told me that mismatched underwear makes them focus their attention on the bra, panties and stockings one at a time and spend longer looking at each piece. That means their gaze is fixed on those important parts that the underwear is designed to flaunt for much longer. Underneath all the sexily chaotic disorganisation of my clothes in this set, there is a kind […]
The Growth of Long Hair Fetish
The long hair fetish is particularly important to those who associate it with a woman’s animal nature, with the unruliness of female sexuality. Trichophilia or hair fetishism is a paraphilia in which the subject of the fetish becomes sexually stimulated in the presence of, or is compelled by, human hair. It is most commonly head hair that becomes the preferred object of this fetish. Arousal may occur from images of long hair or by watching or touching very long hair, hair cutting, long fringes, red hair, wet hair or new hairstyling techniques that exploit its potential. Long hair fetishism seems to be very common, since there are a great many web sites and forums devoted to it. These interest groups are based in numerous countries which indicates the global reach of this kink. Scientific studies have established that long hair has played a vital role in any animal species’ natural selection. Long, thick and healthy hair is frequently a sign of fertility, youth and represents unavoidable reproductive value. As human hair grows slowly, long hair is visual proof of several years of a person’s health, status and fitness. Hair length has, over time, become firmly associated with female attractiveness by men as well as women. I’ve always had long hair and I love it, especially now that it’s nipple length and so versatile as a fetish material to adapt use and enhance features such as my neck, shoulders and face. When I’m deep in thought, weighing up options or just […]
Thigh-high boots are considered by many to be erotic or kinky. They are used as fetish clothing in boot fetishism and shoe fetishism. Cheaper thigh-high boots are often associated with prostitution or sadomasochism. The image that they portray is so powerful that it has been adopted by the mainstream fashion industry. Thigh-high boots as articles of fetish clothing date back at least to the 1950s when Irving Klaw used them in the costuming of the models in his erotic photography, including Bettie Page. Since that time, they have been a staple of fetish and adult photography. In the summer, I cut an old pair of jeans down to make some shorts. I looked at the denim legs I had left over and, instead of throwing them away, I had an idea of how to use them in a photo-set. I decided to play around with the idea of thigh-high fetish and this is the result. Featured photography by Stephan
The hoodie fetish went mainstream on every news channel, in every country, this summer. Between 6th and 10th August, numerous London districts and – in a series of copycat incidents – other cities and towns in England saw widespread acts of rioting, looting and arson. When I saw all those feral teenagers out shopping aggressively in high street sports shops, electrical retailers and designer boutiques I thought to myself “it must be cold over there because everyone is wearing a hoodie”. Watching four nights of the mayhem on TV and online must have been a dream for the hoodie fetishists among us. They didn’t need to make excuses or feel self-conscious about their obsession as all of those hoodies filled the blazing, night-time streets – their only problem was that they were spoilt for choice about which one to fantasize over next. A hoodie is a sweatshirt with a hood and a very large pocket in front. It is capable of carrying those essential items for when you’re out on the street. Not only a symbol of street individuality, but a mark of brotherhood with friends, the hoodie has become unfairly associated with gang culture. Modern British media prefers to view the hoodie as a piece of primitive tribal clothing commonly seen in large quantities around street corners, public toilets and McDonald’s restaurants in town centres up and down the country, and almost certainly in any recently-stolen car. Instead of being a functional piece of casual-wear, the hoodie is seen […]
