I remember loving that barefoot feeling when I was young, especially when I went out into the garden in the early morning. As I placed my naked feet on the cold grass, when it was still wet with dew, the delicate skin on my soles and inbetween my toes never failed to respond.
The word fetish derives from 15th century Portuguese feitiço, which meant charm or spell. A fetish is an object believed to have supernatural powers, or in particular, a man-made object that has power over others. Essentially, fetishism is the attribution of inherent value or powers to an object. The terms “erotic fetish” and “sexual fetish” were first introduced by the French psychologist Alfred Binet in the 1940s.
Today a “fetish” is an object, non-reproductive body part or action whose presence or existence causes excitement and/or arousal in an individual. An object might be latex or heels, a non-sexual body part could be legs or feet and tickling or smoking are examples of actions.
“Fetish” is also used as an adjective that relates to anything connected to the world of BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Domination, Submission, Sadomasochism) such as fetish wear or fetish clubs.

My Foreign Fetish (Xenophilia)
I would definitely consider myself to be a xenophile. My love for foreign things began at a young age when I became obsessed with everything that was French. Later, I lived and studied in Paris as an important part of my universtity degree. My xenophilia became even greater.
Discovering The Fourth Hole (Foot Fetish)
Discovering The Fourth Hole (Foot Fetish) Recently, after enjoying a pedicure and the pampering that goes with it, I wanted to celebrate. I realised that there was really only one way to do it properly. If I really wanted to showcase my freshly-painted toenails and my new softer soles then discovering the power of my fourth hole was the best way. I cannot deny that I had an ulterior motive; those lubricants I needed to test, and review, had been waiting long enough. When you are a sex toy tester, it becomes inevitable that you will end up mixing business with pleasure or vice versa. Fortunately, I had a more than willing accomplice. Later, I laid down on my bed face up and I ordered him to remain standing at the foot so I could see him. “Strip” I ordered and he complied. I extended my long legs and pointed my toes at his vulnerable thighs. I ignored his genitalia completely and he became a little frustrated, trying to grab my teasing ankles. “Wait” I warned him and I resumed my intention of working him up in my own good time. I pressed my big toes into the tops of his legs and drew invisible designs on his thighs and then, going upwards, up and down his abdomen. My talented toes begin to close in on his ever more impressive stiffness. Then, I broke contact and edged backwards a little, bringing my feet together as he stared at them. I […]
The Female Sexual Consumer
There’s no doubt that women are spending a great deal more of their disposable income on sexual products of different kinds. The last decade has seen a rapid rise in the number of high-end erotic boutiques aimed at the female sexual consumer and couples. In their smooth design, attractive displays and simple cleanliness they put the old seedy male-orientated sex shops to shame. Women are spoilt for choice when it comes to sex toys. In fact, there’s so much variety on offer that erotic shopping can even be confusing for sex toy virgins. More recently, the Fifty Shades of Grey literary phenomenon has contributed to the increase of female sexual consumerism. Despite these advances, when it comes to actual ‘hands on’ sexual consumerism among women, then there’s no denying that men have a lot more variety and possibilities than we do. After all, the oldest profession was a service for men. Female sexual freedom is still a quite recent concept, but with increased demand, surely a better variety and range of offerings is just around the corner. There is still the widely held belief that women don’t need to pay for sex and that even if they did, it doesn’t seem to be as socially acceptable. However, in Australia where prostitution is legal, websites like Escorts & Babes, make the whole process a lot easier for women and men. There are many reasons why someone would pay for sex. One of them could be the need to live out a […]
Summertime Sadness for Hosiery Fetishists
The warm weather has arrived, finally. I can appreciate the increased exposure of firm cleavages and long bare legs to greedy eyes on the street. While many pedestrians are thrilled about seeing more naked skin as they walk around, I cannot help but feel a little sad at the spectacle. As a devoted hosiery fetishist, the rising temperatures can only mean that my passion for wearing sheer seamed stockings, fishnet stockings and suspender belts will have to be put on hold again until autumn returns. I just adore going out dressed in extravagant lingerie. I enjoy wearing a short skirt over the top of stockings and suspenders especially. The feeling of my naked thighs stroking against each other with every single step of my high heels arouses me more than I can explain. It can be a real challenge to wear stockings and suspenders properly. It requires time, precision and no small amount of effort to get them looking just right. If they’re seamed stockings it’s even more complicated but its always worth it. That means ensuring that the seams are perfectly straight and that the stocking tops are at the identical height at the top of both thighs. Then it is essential to attach the clasps of the suspender straps with perfect symmetry. You can’t achieve this yourself without a full-length mirror. Alternatively, having the painstaking hands of an attentive sub simplifies the process completely. Recently, I discovered the solution to the problem of stockings and suspenders for lazy […]
Ode to the Original Mr Grey
Ode to the Original Mr Grey I’ve always believed that the success of the Fifty Shades of Grey books can be attributed to the character of Christian Grey. For me the the appeal of the trilogy is less about the BDSM and more about the rehearsal of an established female fantasy: a fabulously wealthy, enigmatic older man finding redemption from his past misdemeanours by falling in love with a much younger, poorer and virginal girl. In other words, Fifty Shades of Grey is like a Mills & Boon romance novel with butt-plugs and bondage tape. Anastasia Steel is the lucky girl that women across the world love to identify with. We all desire attention and the arousing prospect of a ripped billionaire choosing us above all others to lavish his attentions and perversions upon was guaranteed to get us wet. Even though he seemed like a stalker sometimes. My personal investment in the allure of Mr Grey fell sharply when Jamie Dornan was cast to play him in the film adaptation of the first book in the trilogy. Although Mr Dornan is a talented actor, serious eye-candy and seems shy in interviews there is a problem. The lack of sexual chemistry between himself and Dakota Johnson, playing Anastasia, killed the fantasy on film for me. Christian will never be my idolised Mr Grey. There is another Mr Grey who makes my pulse race. I’m referring to E. Edward Grey, the protagonist, from the film Secretary as played by the wonderful […]
