It was just recently that a good friend made an observation about my fetish for blindfolds.
“It seems as though the main reason you wear blindfolds is so that you don’t have to see the men that you sleep with” She said.

I agreed that sometimes it was true, but that it wasn’t always that simple.

Since that night, I’ve been thinking about blindfolds a lot.

When my eyes disappear behind one, it isn’t just my ability to see that’s affected. With my eyes covered, I can immerse myself in a private fantasy world. A simple touch suddenly means so much more. What seems like just a relaxing caress from fingers I can see becomes thrilling and charged with excitement when it involves ones that I can’t. It’s impossible to anticipate their intention or predict their next movement when I’m behind the blindfold. I don’t need to think at all. I can be perfectly selfish and deliciously passive for a change.

Latex and leather don’t usually go together. They are completely different fetishistic materials but are just as significant, in their own way, as each other. They have their own distinctive appeal and set of associations. Leather is a natural substance that usually has a matte appearance. Latex is always shiny and requires constant maintenance and touch-ups to keep it that way. It is a manufactured material, designed and produced for its fetishistic value.

I began this photo-set wearing latex lingerie supplied to me by Madrubb just for that reason. The form-fitting latex panties were high legged and high-waisted. They did amazing things for my derriere. The cupless latex bra made my breasts look totally different and much fuller. Both items clung closely to my skin. So close, in fact, that if I closed my eyes I could be forgiven for thinking that I was naked in front of the photographer.

We had to stop the shoot regularly so that shiner could be applied to the latex to guarantee its glossiness under the lights. This started as an annoying routine and became a satisfying ritual as the pictures went on. I could feel the shiner through the latex. It was cool and made my skin tingle every time it was used. If it had been hotter in the room it would have meant more shiner and more breaks.

Inbetween set-ups I had to slip on a leather coat to cover my exposed shoulders and breasts. I stood there, flaunting latex lingerie and wearing leather. The coat stopped me shivering and suggested an idea to me. It was so obvious.

“What next?” The photographer asked.

“Latex and leather, of course” I replied “Lets do it now!”

Latex and leather really went together.

I’m feeling a bigger and bigger attraction towards the world of TV these days. If you asked me  why this is I would have a hard time explaining it. The irony is that I don’t even own a TV. I don’t feel as if I’m missing out on anything and I function perfectly well without gameshows, celebrity gossip or the latest docusoap. Still, the potential for TV to promote and develop Planet Venus can not be ignored.

I had anticipated being booked for a TV appearance or two after Interviu magazine featured me on its cover and inside its pages. Despite my efforts to get on TV at that time, I was constantly reminded, by someone who must remain nameless, that it would be much easier for me to be featured if I went out with a footballer or if I got off with Paquirrin. When I thought about it I decided that I was not that desperate.

Fortunately, my ambition to have a higher profile on TV is being realised without me having to compromise or do what other people think is necessary to succeed. I was right not to follow their advice. TV is finding me and not the other way round.

These pictures were shot a year ago and I have been waiting for an excuse to use them since then. Now I can because I was on TV just last Friday ( May 11th 2012). I appeared in a segment of the programme Callejeros made by Canal Cuatro Spain. I got to talk about my ongoing addiction to rabbit vibrators of all kinds.

I bought this vintage dress because it seemed so innocent. It was almost the thing a puritan might wear to church. That thought passed through my mind when I chose it to wear to the Fashion and Fetish show at The Brandery in Barcelona. When I was waiting for my connection at the metro I was suddenly aware of the lingerie I was wearing beneath it. It would be so easy for a gust of wind to reveal to other commuters just what lay underneath the puritan outerwear. The underwear was a lot different.

Some people asked me why I hadn’t gone wearing latex or some other kinky material. What they didn’t realise or could have known was that I had planned my underwear very carefully for its powerful fetish content. My black high heels were obvious, of course. So was a small amount of retro-seamed coffee coloured stocking clinging to each leg. I had chosen the stockings at the same time as the pointed bullet bra that gave my bust such a distinctive outline. They could only have come from What Katie Did.

Further up my vintage stockinged legs, the six-strap suspender belt felt tight against my thighs and waist. I knew my derriere was clearly visible through the sheer, black panties. There was no way to hide it if there was an accidental upskirt moment or even a deliberate one. What I really wanted was to recreate the famous poster image from the film “Secretary”. The model is standing and bent forward. She is offering her bottom up for scrutiny and spanking. Sadly, The Brandery was not the place to treat myself.

I wore the same outfit for a vintage fetish photo-shoot. To be more authentic I added my soft leather gloves. Then I hung a fur around my neck. The more things I could start out wearing, the more I could take off. It seemed obvious what the shoot should be about. I thought of a vintage striptease and began to pose.

There is only one thing better than wearing a puritan style dress and that is taking it off. That is especially true when you have such scandalous lingerie underneath.

The tights fetish is back where it belongs – on the high street, in the fashion magazines and being flaunted by women of all shapes and sizes. I’m glad the weather is getting cooler so I can enjoy wearing them again myself.

As an erotic second skin, tights do two vital things. By defining the form of the female leg, they reveal its arousing contours in perfect detail. At the same time they place a transparent barrier between those contours and the rest of the sensual world. They conceal and reveal at the same time.

It was only a few years ago that tights were out of fashion. Now, because of a higher media profile and stunning new patterns they are back. The sight of them always provokes a positive reaction and sometimes so much more than that.

When we shot this set, I wanted to display my legs in all their tight-wearing glory. The pair I chose were purple coloured and beautifully patterned. My red hair contrasted perfectly with them and so did the black lace top that I chose. I added a little diamante thong underneath the tights for extra kinky value.

To celebrate the tights fetish I played around with shoulder stands and leg poses that made my legs a perfect advertisement for it.

People assume that posing in front of a camera must be easy work. It is, but there is also a certain amount of masochism involved, especially in the casting process for modelling jobs. That can be just as enjoyable – but for different reasons.

The masochism begins with the long wait to be seen at a casting session along with all of your intimidatingly attractive competitors. Sometimes the session is played out in front of those competitors as well as the casting director and the cameraman. That just increases the tension and the pressure on you to perform well. A casting can take the form of a simple presentation or it can combine poses and facial expressions. Others require reciting lines of dialogue or repeating an advertising blurb while wearing a rehearsed smile.

I remember one particular casting when we were told to scream as loudly as possible. I’d already produced my very best “scary witch” laugh in the short film “Love Me like You Hate me” directed by Erika Lust. I imagined a simple scream would be easy. It was only when I was sitting in the waiting room that I had second thoughts. All I could hear through the thin walls was the sound of unseen people screaming randomly. It was intimidating and distracting. After a while, I decided that it was a little too masochistic to stay any longer. I got up and left as quietly as I could.

As it turned out, the casting director had noticed me in the waiting room and had asked an assistant where I was when I didn’t appear at the casting. That assistant ‘phoned my agent who made sure I turned round and got back there as fast as I could. Fortunately, the casting director loved my performance and I got the role. It was a useful lesson. Sometimes, coping with some casual humiliation only makes a performance better. I often wonder, after a casting session has ended, whether the director watches all of the embarrassing video-clips just for fun.

Even when I’m having my make-up done there’s always masochistic pleasure to be had. Once, I was on-set during a blisteringly hot August day with twenty other models present.The air-conditioning was non-existent. We all had glossy, sweaty, faces and they had to be powdered to make them matte again for the benefit of the camera. The same powder sponge was used on everyone. I cringed when I thought about the amount of different DNA that would be part of that sponge afterwards. Then I grinned and had to straighten my face quickly when it came to my turn.

For me, the greatest example of masochism in modelling is having to wear high-heels for a shoot. I really can’t wear them for long and I’m jealous of anyone who can. I can tolerate them long enough for filmed advertisements where I can take plenty of breaks inbetween shots and I’m not expected to walk very much. My high-heel nightmare came true recently when I was told that I had to wear twenty-cm heels for an ad campaign. Those were my highest heels ever and – modelling masochist that I am – I even took them home to practise with before the day of the shoot.

After my work is done, I know that re-touchers, graphic designers and printers will all have to suffer as well to produce the finished result. For me, masochism is the understanding that suffering to achieve something important makes you appreciate it even more when you finally get it…

…and it is always worth it.

Being a good slave is not easy. Even the best ones slip up sometimes and make mistakes – sometimes intentionally.

For the first – and last – time, here are my ten slave commandments.

They need to be followed if you ever want to be a good slave yourself.

8.Never make demands on your Goddess. Anything you receive from Her is a gift.

9.A good slave never shows any signs of free will.

10.Never threaten your Goddess with the termination of your worship. This is the worst of all possible slave-crimes.

As a natural switch I occasionally enjoy playing around with the role of a passive sub instead of my preferred domme status. The upskirt fetish has never been as popular as it is today, I found this out for myself, accidentally, in London a few weeks ago.

I was in Covent Garden when it was windy and, as I walked around a corner, a sudden breeze lifted my short skirt up before I could push it back down. The smiling tourists got a brief glimpse of my panties and, although they were sympathetic, I still felt exposed, on display and vulnerable – it wasn’t like Marilyn Monroe’s iconic scene in The Seven Year Itch at all.

Upskirt photography used to refer to fetishists making unauthorized images under a young woman’s skirt to capture candid shots of her thighs, underwear and crotch area. If they were lucky, they might even find that she wasn’t wearing anything underneath. The start of this fetish can be traced back to the introduction of the miniskirt in the 1960s and the opportunities it provided for upskirt fetishists to realise their fantasies just by walking along the street.

It’s never easy to choose the right panties to wear for the day ahead. Sometimes it’s impossible to choose sensibly, especially if you’re a panty fetishist like me and you own over a hundred different pairs. In that case, the task is almost impossible.

There are a few factors that must always be taken into consideration:

Most women choose panties that seem similar to the bra that they are wearing, even if they only have a vague resemblance. I love the mismatched look and I always go for it.

It’s really important to choose undies that work with your outerwear and not against it. For instance, panties with frills or ruffles never work and should be avoided outside of a photographers studio or someone’s bedroom. Any panties that encourage cameltoes are never recommended at the best of times. I also wonder how many girls take the time to do a proper “whale-tail test” in the morning. If they don’t, then everyone standing behind them in a supermarket as they lean down into a cold cabinet to find some frozen peas, will wish they had.

It’s also important to consider whether your choice will be seen by anyone else, whether it’s a lover, doctor or paramedic. For me, doing sport means wearing comfortable panties, doing a photo-shoot requires something a little over the top and my heaps of designer underwear fit the bill perfectly. If I mean to seduce, my panty choice could be anything from simple cotton to lacy black frills.

I was thinking about choosing the right panties to go with the shoot but I was getting nowhere. Sometimes my mood suggests the most appropriate pair but this time, seeing so many panties waiting for me at once was confusing. I began to appreciate the fact that each and every pair of knickers has its own erotic value and fetish potential. It’s so hard to choose. I ended up grabbing an armful before putting them on, one by one.

After a moment or two, the restriction I felt became like a bondage game. The elastic waistbands embedded themselves into my thighs and became the equivalent of a-tighter than tight-ripped shirt made from a patchwork of bright rags. The fetish effect of these clashing pieces of thin lingerie, balanced against my discount heels, was more than I could have imagined.
