I love mismatched underwear. After adding 15 new pairs of panties, and 8 new bras, to my collection, I had to sort out everything I had. All of the recent additions were Christmas and New Year presents from my fans. It was while I was putting them into piles of similar designs and styles that I had an idea. That was a few weeks ago now and that’s also how long I’ve been posting a daily picture of myself, simultaneously, on Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter and Flickr. I’ve been blogging my mismatched underwear choice of the day, everyday. It is my promise to myself that I’ll never knowingly wear the same pair of panties in two pictures during 2013. Depending on the day, I can choose underwear that looks sultry or geeky, innocent or sensual. I have many pairs to choose from. A long time ago I came to the conclusion that I can never have enough panties. They are my obsession and my favourite kind of collection because they are pretty and practical. It takes me longer to get dressed now but it is so worth it and I wonder just what everyone thinks of my selection for the day. Even I haven’t got 365 different pairs so I’m offering my fans the chance to contribute to the cause. If you want to see me in a specific pair of panties then you only have to buy them for me and I’ll be more than happy to oblige. I would […]
For bra fetishists, the reality of naked female breasts can never be as stimulating or significant to them as the way that those breasts can be presented by a brassiere that perfects their shape. A fantasy bust and ideal cleavage is something that exists only in cinema, magazine spreads or photographically enhanced advertising.
Bra fetishism relies upon a delicate balance achieved between the amount of breast displayed and the volume hidden by the garment itself.
More than any other item of lingerie, the bra is composed of architectural highlights that can be appreciated in isolation or as parts of the satisfying whole.
The back-or front-fastening, the cups and whether the material used to make it is sheer, or not, are all vital considerations to the bra fetishist.
Most important to the continued fetishistic power of the bra are its straps or lack of. They divide the body of the woman that wears them into pieces that can be appreciated as individual components in the same way that the cups frame and promote the cleavage-itself a phenomenon that doesn’t exist beyond the benefits that the bra provides.
The position of the straps is also important because if a partially visible one gradually slips down a shoulder in public, without the knowledge of the wearer, it can provide an abiding source of excitement and arousal for the fetishistic gaze.
2012: A Year of British Fetish
Last year had some real highlights when it came to British fetish. For me, the one that stood out the most was the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. If it was not William’s camp uniform that turned heads then it was Pippa Middleton’s derriere. It seemed like a hard act to follow. This year exceeded all my expectations when it came to the promotion of British fetish. We had the London Olympics for a start. The highlight of the opening ceremony for me, and for most of the millions watching, was the appearance of the fictional James Bond (as played by Daniel Craig) in a scene starring The Queen playing herself. After the filmed set up we were treated to a live stunt that featured a stunt man in royal drag dropping into the olympic stadium with a Bond lookalike. The Diamond Jubilee was a dream of British Fetish. When it comes to the allure of a fantasy world populated by aristocrats, princes and princesses nobody does it like Britain. For a while we could believe that we had gone back to a time when courtesy, deference and discipline was the norm and not the exception. Fetishism is about knowing your place in a hierarchy and enjoying the unequal distribution of power that follows from accepting that state of affairs. When the Queen’s reign was celebrated the world over, we all became subs. The Summer of Sport and the Diamond Jubilee put together represented an unprecedented celebration […]
Official Calendar 2013
I looked at my calendar from this year, saw it was already October and realised that next year’s one was almost due for production. I had been looking to do a collaboration with a new photographer and Lourdes Ribas of www.pixelstudi.com had already agreed to do the shoot. I was delighted when a date was set to do just that. Then, I developed a cold and had to cancel. I was badly congested for days before developing an ear infection. Not only was I exhausted but one ear was completely blocked. I just didn’t feel kinky. Nevertheless, time was passing and the pressure on me began to build. Another date was fixed and I knew that I couldn’t cancel for a second time. Even though part of me was still trying to talk myself out of it, I made myself go to the venue the second time. It took ages to pack my bag with a variety of essential accessories. More time than usual was spent on folding the stockings, packing the high heels and selecting the dresses that I would need. My main idea was to wear sheer dresses the wrong way round so that their open backs would allow my charms to be displayed more easily to the photographer. Although I had only known Lourdes for a few months, the set dresser, Pepe von Strudel from www.vonstrudel.com, had been a friend of mine for years. I was so excited about being photographed in a set decorated for […]
Loving Latex and Leather
Latex and leather don’t usually go together. They are completely different fetishistic materials but are just as significant, in their own way, as each other. They have their own distinctive appeal and set of associations. Leather is a natural substance that usually has a matte appearance. Latex is always shiny and requires constant maintenance and touch-ups to keep it that way. It is a manufactured material, designed and produced for its fetishistic value. I began this photo-set wearing latex lingerie supplied to me by Madrubb just for that reason. The form-fitting latex panties were high legged and high-waisted. They did amazing things for my derriere. The cupless latex bra made my breasts look totally different and much fuller. Both items clung closely to my skin. So close, in fact, that if I closed my eyes I could be forgiven for thinking that I was naked in front of the photographer. We had to stop the shoot regularly so that shiner could be applied to the latex to guarantee its glossiness under the lights. This started as an annoying routine and became a satisfying ritual as the pictures went on. I could feel the shiner through the latex. It was cool and made my skin tingle every time it was used. If it had been hotter in the room it would have meant more shiner and more breaks. Inbetween set-ups I had to slip on a leather coat to cover my exposed shoulders and breasts. I stood there, flaunting latex lingerie […]
Venus O’Hara’s Cover Shots
I used to love going to the nearest kiosk to buy Spanish GQ so that I could see my monthly column in print. It was even more of a thrill when I had an article in the pages of Primera Linea. Nothing quite prepared me for seeing a rack of magazines with me on the cover though. There’s nothing like it. Sensualité September 2012 issue The creative team responsible for the magazine “Sexologies” has published the second digital edition of their new publication and I am its covergirl. Although I was posing for the photographer wearing a crotchless bodystocking, he chose to focus on my face instead. Then I remembered that the magazine was intended for a female readership. Sado and Bondage. A new and exclusive wraparound cover has been produced to update the Spanish version of Love Me Like You Hate Me, my book about BDSM written with Erika Lust. The book will now feature one of Sebas Romero’s most definitive portraits of me. This covergirl is wearing full make-up and a lace blindfold, of course. Primera Línea – June 2012 issue Although this cover image was taken in February, there was warm sunlight washing over me as I posed naked. I was concerned that my nipples wouldn’t appear hard enough so I asked the photographer if she had some ice. She nodded and smiled. I was careful to rub it on them so that they stood up just the way I wanted. Bedeseme – May 2012 issue This […]
Bridget Jones Panties
A few years ago I wouldn’t have been seen dead wearing a pair of high-waisted panties. They were seen as unfashionable even before the now iconic scene in the “Bridget Jone’s Diary” film. Bridget, played by Renée Zellweger, had been conflicted about her imminent date with the sleazy character played by Hugh Grant. Would she choose skimpy, sexy knickers or the enormous, off-white, pair that would hold in her ample curves? When she held the high-waisted ones aloft the whole female audience, myself included, laughed and cringed. Those panties represented everything that we didn’t aspire to be. I was as surprised as anyone with the unexpected decline of the thong and the rise of the “Brazilian” style instead. Nowadays, panties are big and they seem to be getting bigger. Sales of larger knickers are booming as women relegate skimpier styles to the back of their underwear drawer. Boy shorts and high-waist briefs reappeared on the high street and now sales are booming. One reason for this is the fashion for “underwear as outerwear” promoted by Lady Gaga and Lily Allen among others. The other trend that has revived interest in them is the popularity of all things retro. The eager acceptance of 1950’s waist-cinching styles has done more than anything to help big panties lose their “Bridget Jones” image. When I was shopping in Marks and Spencer recently I made sure I had a look at their high-waisted knickers. I found out that they’d changed a lot. Instead of the […]
