Fifty Shades of Grey is trending again and it feels as though it never went away. The truth is, it’s always there now, in the back of our aroused minds. It is, in no small part, the responsibility of its author, E.L. James that 2012 will be remembered as a watershed for erotic literature and the portrayal of BDSM as a viable and peculiarly effective ingredient of modern sexuality. Now, we have seen the first trailer to the forthcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film. Everyone seems to be watching it, talking about it or avoiding it in case it does not live up to their private visualisation of the two main characters involved. Nevertheless, everyone will have to wait until Valentine’s Day 2015 to see it… If the length of the wait seems like a special type of torture then do not get overly concerned. Fifty Shades of Grey is all about BDSM. The punishing delay until fans of the books can see the film seems quite appropriate when you look at it from that perspective. If you need to keep yourself and your own personal Mr Grey distracted and entertained while you are both waiting patiently, then I can think of no better way than to take full advantage of the official Fifty Shades of Grey sex toy collection. The amazing variety of products it comprises will guarantee that neither of you will ever get bored. The collection includes toys such as vibrators, ben wah balls, G spot vibrator, […]
Blindfolds possess unique fetishistic potential. They are particularly potent when used to experiment with the sensory deprivation of a pliable submissive within a BDSM context. There is a key fetish connected to the use of blindfolds in which the exploitation of sense pleasures is especially important. It is termed Amaurophilia and it refers almost always to the blindfolding of a woman.
For Amaurophiliacs, having sex with a compliant woman who is already wearing a blindfold or who puts one on during the act itself represents the summit of their particular fantasy. This may also include the preference for having sex in complete darkness which only increases tactile sensations and sensitivity. Wearing a blindfold increases the other lover’s sense of power. Eye-contact can be avoided completely, contrary to normal social protocols, which enables the seeing lover to take more liberties with his or her need for voyeuristic satisfaction. The thrill for the wearer of the blindfold rests in them knowing that they don’t have to do anything themselves.
The ways in which vision can be slowly, but safely, restricted are many and varied. They can range from scarves to items from an underwear drawer-the longer it takes to manufacture a DIY blindfold the better. The male fetishist maintains strict visual contact with his subject while she works on covering her eyes.
It was just recently that a good friend made an observation about my fetish for blindfolds. “It seems as though the main reason you wear blindfolds is so that you don’t have to see the men that you sleep with” She said. I agreed that sometimes it was true, but that it wasn’t always that simple. Since that night, I’ve been thinking about blindfolds a lot. When my eyes disappear behind one, it isn’t just my ability to see that’s affected. With my eyes covered, I can immerse myself in a private fantasy world. A simple touch suddenly means so much more. What seems like just a relaxing caress from fingers I can see becomes thrilling and charged with excitement when it involves ones that I can’t. It’s impossible to anticipate their intention or predict their next movement when I’m behind the blindfold. I don’t need to think at all. I can be perfectly selfish and deliciously passive for a change. [nggallery id=62] Photos by Yuky Lutz
More Tickle Torture
Even though the summer has faded, the effect of “50 Shades of Grey” still lingers. I’m sitting at my writing desk and I’m thinking about sex. Nothing unusual there you might think. It seems to me that everyone is caught up in the meaning and uses of BDSM in their own lives and relationships. Something has been forgotten in all of those TV discussions focused on strap-ons, handcuffs and spankings. I haven’t heard any debates recently about sex and humour. Have we forgotten how to be dirty in the bedroom and actually laugh while we are doing it? I haven’t. When I think back to those times when I was turned on and trying hard not to laugh I always end up remembering the same afternoon. It was the day I was being photographed by a tickle fetishist and my ankles were tied onto a horizontal metal bar while I was blindfolded and sitting on an office chair. The tight white panties I had chosen for the shoot would look scandalous I hoped. Now that a reasonable amount of time has passed since the shoot I can appreciate just how unusual it really was. It was like a job at the time and I took it seriously. The photographer was committed to getting the most out of the session. He had rehearsed his tickling plans in perfect detail. When my stockinged legs were opened and raised and the blindfold was fitted on my face I was defenceless. I only remember […]
Venus O’Hara’s Cover Shots
I used to love going to the nearest kiosk to buy Spanish GQ so that I could see my monthly column in print. It was even more of a thrill when I had an article in the pages of Primera Linea. Nothing quite prepared me for seeing a rack of magazines with me on the cover though. There’s nothing like it. Sensualité September 2012 issue The creative team responsible for the magazine “Sexologies” has published the second digital edition of their new publication and I am its covergirl. Although I was posing for the photographer wearing a crotchless bodystocking, he chose to focus on my face instead. Then I remembered that the magazine was intended for a female readership. Sado and Bondage. A new and exclusive wraparound cover has been produced to update the Spanish version of Love Me Like You Hate Me, my book about BDSM written with Erika Lust. The book will now feature one of Sebas Romero’s most definitive portraits of me. This covergirl is wearing full make-up and a lace blindfold, of course. Primera Línea – June 2012 issue Although this cover image was taken in February, there was warm sunlight washing over me as I posed naked. I was concerned that my nipples wouldn’t appear hard enough so I asked the photographer if she had some ice. She nodded and smiled. I was careful to rub it on them so that they stood up just the way I wanted. Bedeseme – May 2012 issue This […]
Mundo X – Canal Plus
I’m writing this text in little pieces. It is easier to add to it in between doing bits of housework. The housework is a way to distract myself so I do not keep thinking about tonight. I am excited but it is still early and there are hours to go yet. It will not be long before Mundo X is on TV. It is not the subjects that they will be discussing that interest me the most. As I water the plants I see myself in a mirror and notice that I am just wearing a tight vest and purple panties in this heat. The tight red latex dress that I wore for the interview reflected every bright studio light. MadRubb supplied me with the outfit. As usual, I could not wear panties under the latex. I was careful how I crossed and uncrossed my legs while I explained the academic exercises in my new book “Ingles Para Pervertidos”. The idea of an accidental upskirt moment that could be broadcast across Spain added to my tension. It was fine. This was the second time I have appeared in Mundo X and I had an amazing time. If you are curious about the interview you can watch it tonight HERE.. If you are intrigued about the book Inglés para pervertidos, you can buy it here
English for Perverts Cover Shoot (Blindfold)
The publishers of English For Perverts were waiting for me. I was under pressure to deliver a really powerful image of myself wearing a blindfold. It was necessary to try a second photo-session to find the killer shot because the results of the first were just good when they had to be great. I must admit that I was a little nervous when we began again. I understood the objective. We needed a perfect portrait of my face, hidden beneath the beautiful blindfold supplied by Le Boudoir. The Union Flag design would be photo-shopped onto it, in colour, to complete the printed design. Against the rich black and white of my face the famous pattern would express the intention of my book. Learning English and, in my case, being English should be clear to anyone seeing the cover. We began by shooting in colour. My pouting mouth was emphasised by the precise application of bright red lipstick. A fan blew cold air into my face to lift my long red hair up and make it seem to float in the pictures. It was such a strange sensation to be unable to see under the blindfold while I could feel my hair being pushed around. Every strand felt alive with movement while the sound of the fan was louder than I could believe. We tried a variety of different blindfolds and those alternative shots are interesting in their own right. It was so cold in the photographer’s house but none of […]
